SOUND FOR SIGHT The composers have names like Nino Rota, Tan Dun, Michel Legrand and Astor Piazzolla. For many of their works, the medium was the movies - films like "La Strada,"La Doice Vita" and "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Drag- on." At 7:30 tonight at Alice Tully Hall, their com- positions will be the focus of "Sound Discoveries : No Subtitles Needed: The Language of Foreign Film Music."This concert by the Little Orchestra Society of New York, led by Dino Anagnost, includes a world premiere of the Greek composer Minos Matsas`s score for "Diary of a Lost Girl," a rerelease of the 1929 G. W. Pabst film.
